2018 North Island Championships
Hosting Club: Bay of Plenty Barbell Club
Event Location: Mount CrossFit, 109 Newton Street, Mount Maunganui
Competition Dates: Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th July
Qualification Period: 01/01/2018 – 24/06/2018
Criteria: Must be a 2018 Financial member of OWNZ and compete in one club competition between the qualification period.

Criteria: Must be a 2018 Financial member of OWNZ (Secondary School Member or Competitive Member)

Hosted by Olympic Weightlifting New Zealand
Dates: Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd September
Location: Kolmar, Papatoetoe, Auckland
Entries Close: Sunday 2nd September
Entry Criteria: Athletes must be 2018 OWNZ Members and achieve the following grading standard or higher between 1st January – 2nd September at an OWNZ sanctioned club competition.
Senior athletes must achieve C Grade
Junior athletes must achieve D Grade

OWNZ Invitational 2018 Health & Fitness Expo
Host: Olympic Weightlifting New Zealand
Event Location: ASB Showgrounds, Auckland
Competition Dates: Saturday 27th October
Selection Criteria: The athletes that will be sent invitations to compete at this event and represent New Zealand will be selected based on their performances at the following national events:
South Island Champs – 7th & 8th of July
North Island Champs – 14th & 15th of July
